How much does a new boiler cost in Mansfield?
Our published price for a combi swap is around £2,500 and a system swap around £3,000, and the deal we run most often is a 30kW premium combi with a horizontal flue, twelve year manufacturer warranty, magnetic filter, Cal Mag filter, shock arrester, a power flush of the system, all materials and a smart thermostat with an app, at £3,600. Those figures include VAT. Every house is different, so we confirm the price after we have seen the job, but we publish the numbers so you are not starting from zero.
How long does a boiler installation take?
A straight combi swap in the same position is usually a single day. Moving the boiler to a different wall, converting from a conventional system to a combi, or upgrading the gas run adds a day, sometimes two. We tell you which of those yours is before you book, not on the morning.
Which boilers do you install?
We are an approved installer for Atag and Intergas, and Liam holds Worcester Bosch level 3 in fault finding. If you have a preference we will fit it. If you have not, we will tell you what we would put in our own house and why, including the ones we would avoid.
Do I need a combi, a system or a regular boiler?
Broadly: a combi if you have one bathroom and no cylinder, a system boiler if you have more than one bathroom or a family all wanting hot water at once, and a regular boiler if the house has an old gravity system that would cost more to convert than it saves. It also depends on your mains water pressure, which we measure rather than guess.
What happens to my old boiler?
We take it away and dispose of it, and that is in the price. The same goes for the old cylinder and tanks on a conversion.
Do you offer finance?
Ask us. It depends on the job and the boiler, and we would rather give you a straight answer on the phone than put a finance banner on a website.
